Mrs. Amanda Fields, a native of Stephenson county, passed away at her home in Mankato. Kan., last Friday. Word of her death was received by relatives at Red Oak. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ilgen and was born in Dakota township. She had been an invalid for several years. She is survived by her husband, Aden Fields, two daughters and two sons.
Funeral services were held at Mankato last Sunday.
