THE LATE MRS SELINA GAFFIN

The funeral of the late Mrs. Selina Gaffin, of Jarrahdale, took place on the 29th and was very largely attended. The deceased lady, who was in her 58th year, succumbed to an attack of pneumonia at the Jarrahdale District Hospital.

She was born near Guildford, and was a daughter of Joshua Kemp, farmer, of that district, and had resided at Jarrahdale for the past 22 years, where she was well known and highly respected.

The cortege moved from her late residence and proceeded to the Jarrahdale Cemetery, where the remains were interred, the burial service being conducted by the Rev. P. W. Daimpre.

The chief mourners were Mr. D Gaffin (husband) Messrs, Cecil David, Herbert Wilfred (sons), Misses Beatrice and Evelyn (daughters), Mrs. E. Cockram and Mrs. W. Allen (sisters) Mr. W. Allen (brother in law) Miss Mabel Cockram, Mrs. Kennedy and Mrs. Cairns (nieces) William, Ernest, and Joseph (nephews).

The pallbearers were Messrs. L. Seaford, T Pratt, W. Matthews, and W. Feast.

Numerous wreaths and floral tributes and letters of condolence were received by the bereaved family.
