Jayne Bishop Williams, 79, of Greenville passed away Sept. 3, 2009, at her residence.

Services are at 10 a.m. today in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Dr. James Ralson and Rev. Jim Sherwin officiating.

Graveside services are at 4 p.m. today at Neinda Cemetery in Jones County.

Jayne was born Feb. 19, 1930, in Abilene to Earnest and Dollie Harwell Bishop.

She married Donley Williams on Dec. 22, 1949, in Abilene; he preceded her in death July 16, 1966.

On June 6, 1973, she married Gerald Williams in Mesquite.

She was a school teacher, homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Celeste.

Her survivors include her husband, Gerald, of Greenville; a son, Jack Williams and wife Ellen of Plano; daughter Latrese Lytle and husband Buddie of Anson; a sister, Elizabeth Doshier of Arkansas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Donley, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Peggy Newman; and grandson David Lytle.

Honorary pallbearers are Curtis Fuller, Eric Evans, Robbie Barnard, Fred Reynolds, David LaFavers and Jimmy Felty.

The family requests memorials be made to Neinda Cemetery Association, in care of Jerry Williams, 8 Highlife Circle, Abilene, 79606.
