SPARTA -- Funeral services for Deanna Allison Austin, 74, of Sparta, will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Hunter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Allison Cemetery in Putnam County.
The family will receive friends at 5 p.m. today, Monday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Austin died on Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born on June 28, 1924, in Baxter, to the late Hugh and Lola Herron Allison Sr. Mrs. Austin was a homemaker.
Her family includes her husband, Kenneth Austin of Sparta; a daughter, Tammye Francis of Gallatin; two sons, Ronnie Austin of Gallatin, and Wallace Austin of Sparta; two brothers, H.O. Allison Jr. of Baxter, and Phillip Allison of Mt. Juliet; a sister, Letha Randolph of Baxter; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Velma Allison; and two brothers, Euin and Eugene Allison.
