UPDATE
Precious has a name. Her real name was Boo.
Thanks to someone who emailed me and who knew this wonderful dog I can now put her real name on the memorial.
At first I wasn't able to put her real name as it was not available to me. I had chosen Precious. Well, now I can say that Precious the Boxer is really named Boo.
--------------------------------------------
A precious female Boxer died because her owners, Jorin and Amber Stewart were evicted, and when they moved out of their Westchase apartment, they left the Boxer pup behind. She was left to die alone in that apartment.

The Boxer was approximately 1 to 2 years old. The name is not available at this time.

She was seen at the window by a janitor who called animal control but by the time they got there, the dog was already dead. She had no food and no water in the apartment. Left to die by the people who should have taken care of her.

Authorities arrested Jorin Stewart at his job at the Chase Bank on Indipendence Parkway, where he worked as a manager. He was charged with animal cruelty according to Hillsborough Animal Services. Officers are still trying to locate Stewart's wife Amber and determine if she was complaisant in the abuse.

Spokeswoman Marti Ryan said the boxer had likely been dead a few weeks, although tests are being performed to determine exactly when the animal died.

The dog had drank from 3 toilets in the apartment but had no other food or water, Ryan said.

The toilets were found completely dry, she added.
