Susie was the daughter of James Harvey & Alice Grace (Reynolds) Hollingsworth who are buried across the drive in Rochester Cemetery.

Susie married James Frank Buttler on Sep 12 1897 in Ellis County TX. The original marriage certificate from the Ellis Co courthouse was given to her granddaughter Sue Buttler Johnson by Jim Hollingsworth.
