Keefeton Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years. He played bass at his church, and was a member of the gospel group, Higher Vision. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Kimberly Diane of the home; his children:

Eldon was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Mickayla Lyn Bales and his sister, Linda Faye Ellis. riends and family will gather to celebrate the life of Eldon Bales at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Grandview Tabernacle withReverend Bobby Wingo officiating. Interment will follow in Agnew Cemetery with Timothy Bales, Darin Bales, Daniel Harrison, Stephen Story, Christopher Story and Doug Lane serving as pallbearers.
