Eleanor S. Elliott, 95, of Peoria died at Lutheran Hillside Village in Peoria Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009.
Born Oct. 28, 1913, in Stark County, Ill., a daughter of Reuben Z. and Catherine M. Gehrt Streitmatter, she married Denver K. Elliott on May 2, 1934, in Princeton, Ill. He survives.
Also surviving is one daughter, Charmaine E. (Rick) Freeze of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, one infant son, three sisters and one brother.
Mrs. Elliott was a graduate of Brown's Business College in Peoria, where she met her future husband, with whom she recently celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary.
She was a member of the Illinois and National Button Society.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
