Hysel Carris Workman, 68, of Ivydale, died May 5, 2004, at the VA Medical Center, Clarksburg, WV.
He was born on October 3, 1935, to Alton and Runa Mae Workman. He was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Majestic Mining, an Army veteran, a member of UMWA, and a member of Clay Masonic Lodge No. 97.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Runa Mae Workman.
Survivors include his father, Alton Workman of Camden on Gauley; son, George Michael Workman of Clay; daughters, Tamela Lane Wilmoth of Jackson, TN, and Mary Susan Sears of Big Otter; sisters, Lucille Rose of Birch River, Elsie Casto of Virginia, Jean Key of Camden on Gauley, Virginia Maddox of Virginia, Judy Dunn of Virginia; grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn Workman, Eric Michael Workman, Evan Lane Sears and Rachel Lynn Sears.
Graveside funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2004, at Family Cemetery, Otterlick, WV, with Minister Wayne Litton officiating. There will be no visitation.
