Mrs. Cornelia Kennedy, 91, a life-long resident of Austin, passed away Saturday, December 6, 1997.

She was born January 25, 1906, in Austin, Texas, to Walter D. Mosteller and Jenny Faulkner Mosteller. She was a long-time member of Park Hills Baptist Church. Cornelia was a 50 year member of the Travis Chapter #472 of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed all types of music, especially playing the piano for her family and friends. Another of her favorite hobbies was gardening. Mrs. Kennedy will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her husband, Archie P. Kennedy in November 1988.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 1997, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Woody Berry officiating. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park.

She is survived by three daughters, six grandchildren, grand-children, five great-grandchildren, a brother, and a sister.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, 2222 Welborn, Dallas, Tx., 75219 or a charity of your choice.
