Redding Beulah, former resident of Swan Twp, died August 1 at Holly Hill, Fla., where she had been residing for about two years. Funeral was Tuesday in L. E. Berhalter & Sons Funeral Home. Burial, Avilla Lutheran Cemetery. She was born June 30, 1903, and was married to Ralph Redding, who died shortly before she moved to Florida. Her father was Adam Hess, who was born in Swan Twp, and her mother was Margaret nee Berkes. She had no children. Surviving are two brothers, Henry Hess of Avilla, and Lawrence Hess of Fort Wayne; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Keck of Avilla, Ella Hoot, Auburn, and Clara Hoot, Holly Hill, Fla. ~ 8-8-1963
