Robert Flores "Tito" Luna, 83, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at the Veterans Hospital Hospice Center in Prescott.
Robert was born on Jan. 19, 1924, in Clarkdale, where he was also raised. He served in the Army as a private first class during World War II.
He worked in the mines in Jerome and retired as a painter from Luke Air Force Base.
Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jennie; his daughters: Mary Margaret and Mary Ann; sons: Robert Jr., Al, Mike, Tony, and Ruben; 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, April 11, at 11 a.m. at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., in Cottonwood. Graveside services will follow at Valley View Cemetery and a reception will be held at the American Legion Post 25, 480 Calvary Way, in Cottonwood.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Prescott Veterans Hospital-Hospice in honor of Robert F. Luna.
