Services for Arminta Rose
Funeral services for Aminta M. Rose, who died March 2 at West Ridge Manor Nursing Home, were held March 5 from Bybee & Davis Funeral Home with burial in Liberty Cemetery. Rev. Kermit Gladfelder officiated.
Pallbearers were Leo Rose, Don McCay, Delno Pearson, Herbert Cline, Leonard Langstrast and Alfred Christensen Jr. Mrs. John Peters, organist accompanied Mrs. Max Harsin, soloist.
Arminta Merle, daughter of Thomas E. and Nancy Stephens Rose, was born June 7, 1899 on the farm near Attica where she spent her entire life. She attended Attica schools and graduated there in 1920. She and her brother operated the farm and she was active in 4-H and Farm Bureau. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Myrtle; and brother Dwight.
Surviving are one brother, Seth; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Sherman of Tracy, Mrs. Ruth Phelps of Slayton, Minn; and Mrs. Areta Bassett of Saline, Mich.
