DON PATTERSON RITES TO BE FRIDAY
Don Patterson, 52, of Corydon and a resident of Chariton until 12 years ago, died at noon Wednesday following several years illness. Mr. Patterson was a farmer and had been assisting in managing a nursing home in Corydon in recent years.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Baptist church in Corydon with interment in the Chariton cemetery. The Wolf Funeral Home of Corydon is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are his wife, Wavel, two daughters, Mrs. Donald Holmes of Fairfield, Mrs. William McClaflin of near Chariton, three sons, Carl of Shenandoah, Tom of Corydon and Dean at home. Other survivors are seven grandchildren, his father, Guy Patterson of Chariton and a sister, Mrs. Connell Pierschbacher, rural Chariton.
