Myrtle Lee Parker was the eldest child of William Dickerson Parker of Houston, Texas and Lula Elida Lent of Ridgeway, Pennsylvania.

Myrtle Lee Parker was the 3 great-granddaughter of Hannah "Morgan" Boone Stewart Pennington. Hannah was the sister to Daniel Boone.
A very interesting fact about Myrtle was during WWII she was working as a cook on Military Base New Mexico. One day Myrtle noticed a man pouring something in her soup and reported it. The man was a spy and was trying to poison the soup. Granny got a medal for that. I just thought that was very important to note. The medal was lost in flood in Houston Texas. Myrtle Lee Parker was also niece of Mercer Parker killed in Indian raid father of Cynthia Ann Parker mother of Chief Quanah Parker.

On 24 Nov she married Thomas Jefferson Brown from Louisiana. To that union were born 6 children.

After Tom died in 1948, Myrtle remained a widow for many years. On 6 Aug 1970 she married Albert B Camp.
