Mrs. Crawford died Aug. 20, 2007, in Palestine.
She was born Jan. 1, 1920, in Elkhart to Thomas Jefferson and Myrtle Lee Parker Brown. She was a charter member of Bassett Road Baptist Church.
Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, James S. O'Neal in 1965 and Charlie G. Crawford in 1987; a daughter, Mary Nel O'Neal; a great grandchild; four sisters; and three brothers.
Survivors include a daughter Peggy O'Neal Howland, Montalba; son, Charles Taz "Teddy" O'Neal, Palestine; sister, Dolores Hatfield, Palestine; brothers, Orlis P. Brown, Palestine, and Douglas Brown, Lufkin; seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Timmy O'Neal, Steven Howland, Allen O'Neal, Charles O'Neal, Jr., James Landers, Shawn O'Neal, Michael O'Neal, and Justin Howland.
Family will receive friends from 6 pm. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
