Elvie Allen Miller was born on August 7, 1889 in Hardin County, Illinois, the son of Tilford Hugh Miller (1852-1909) and Martha Ann Matilda Susan Juline York (1858-1894).
He spent much of his youth in Illinois, but when he married on 13 Jan 1909 to Eva Davidson (1894- ), it was in Crittenden Co, Kentucky, at the home of the bride's aunt and uncle, Malinda "Rhoda" Davidson and Thomas M Miller. Eva was the daughter of Asa Anderson "Ace" Davidson (1865-1932) and Lou Ann Millikan (1873- ).
Elvie and Eva apparently divorced within a year or so, because he was married about 1911 to Pearl Emmer -- (1893-1958), while Eva was remarried on February 28, 1919 in Benton, Scott County, Missouri to Thomas Marshall Hensley.
During the 1930 and 1940 census, Elvie is listed as caretaker for a summer camp in Ouachita County, Arkansas.
