MR. MILLIGAN SERVICES HELD

McKinley Milligan, 75, of Montezuma, died Nov.10 at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

Funeral services were held Nov. 15 at the Steffy Funeral Home. Burial was at Our Silent City Cemetery, Kellogg.

On Dec. 24, 1924, Mr. Milligan was married to Elsie Wertz. The couple had four children. In 1925, they moved to Poweshiek County where they were engaged in farming. They moved to Montezuma in 1948, moving back to the farm in 1953. They returned to Montezuma in 1968. Mr. and Mrs. Milligan shared their home with two of their grandchildren, Audrey and Ed.

Mr. Milligan was a member of the Jackson Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mildred Peterson of Grinnell; three sons, Doyle of Oskaloosa, George of Cedar Rapids, and Delmar of St. Johns, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Tish and Minnie Matthingly, both of Grinnell; and one brother, Ted Milligan of East Moline, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles; and four sisters, Ethel Barr, Maude Anderson, Cora McIlrath, and Emily Tinnermeier.
