Homer C. Hepler, 83, of Arthur Street, West Kittanning, died Saturday, April 3, 1993, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 30, 1909, in Manor Township to Charles and Margaret (Yingst) Hepler. He was a member of Union First Presbyterian Church of Cowansville, where he was a Sunday school teacher and served as a member of the Session. He retired from Graff Kittanning Clay Products of Craigsville. A member of the Kittanning VFW, Hepler was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Robinson of Kittanning RD3; two sisters, Mrs. Ward (Phyllis) George of Butler and Betty Hepler of Kittanning; two grandchildren, Mrs. Lawrence (Barbara) Patton of Kittanning and Steven Elder of Alexandria, Va.; three great-grandchildren, Bradley, Juliann and Jeffrey Patton of Kittanning; and longtime friend Minnie Geist of Kittanning. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annabell (Zeigler) Hepler in 1968; one brother and five sisters. HEPLER – Friends of Homer C. Hepler, 83, of Arthur Street, West Kittanning, who died Saturday April 3, 1993, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Kittanning. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Union First Presbyterian Church, Cowansville, with Rev. Mary Marks King officiating. Memorial gifts may be made to the Choir Fund of the Union First Presbyterian Church in Cowansville. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
