Died - Saturday night, at the family home, Russel, the 3 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hadley. The cause of death was inflammation of the stomach and bowels. The Hadley family resides at 602 North eighth street. The child had been sick only a few days, it is said, and the disease which caused its death worked quickly. All that could possibly be done to save the little one was properly attended to, but its life could not be prolonged. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the United Brethren church, conducted by Rev. C.A. Hendershot. Interment took place in Mercer cemetery west of the city.
