MERIDIAN--John W. Bell, 84, of 35 East Idaho street, Meridian, died at his home Tuesday after a brief illness.

Mr. Bell was born at Everton, Mo., Oct. 26, 1875, and came to Kuna in 1918. He moved to the Meridian area in 1919 ad had lived here since that time.

He joined the Masonic lodge at Everton in 1905 and was a past master of the lodge. He was a member of Meridian lodge 47 AF&AM and had been a Mason 54 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian church.

In addition to his wife, Rose, he is survived by two sons, Lloyd Bell, meridian, and J. T. Bell, Nampa; four daughters, Mrs. Nina Wagoner and Mrs. Mary White, both fo Meridian and Mrs. Josephine Dunn and Miss Frances Bell, both of Des Moines, Wash.; and one sister, Mrs. Veda Lea, Everton.

He also leaves 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Robison chapel with Rev. A. M. Thomas officiating. Services will be conducted by the Meridian Masonic lodge, members of which will meet in the Masonic temple at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Meridian.
