Funeral services for Forrest Young Blackstock, 58, of Tyler, were held last Saturday at the Edom Methodist Church with the Rev. Troy W. Martin officiating. Burial was in the Edom Cemetery.
Mr. Blackstock died last Friday night in a Tyler hospital following an extended illness. Born in Van Zandt County, he had lived in Tyler for the past three years.
Survivors were his wife; four daughters, Mrs. C.D. Ford, Mrs. W.K. Cauthorn, Mrs. N.V. Williams, all of Tyler and Mrs. K.E. Davidson of Baytown; one brother, Alex Blackstock of Mineola; three sisters, Mrs. A.T. Maxfield of Tyler, Mrs. Addie Armstrong of Mineola and Mrs. Buna Yancy of Kilgore; and five grandchildren.
