He was born October 28, 1926 at Cynthia, Indiana, a son of the late Ralph Bragdon and Mayme Lowe Bragdon.
He was reared at Fordyce, and was a graduate of Jacksonville High School.
He worked for Security Land Company prior to his retirement.
He was a charter member of Forrest Park Assembly of God Church, where he had served as an usher.
Survivors; wife, Myrtle Mae Carr Bragdon, to whom he was married on April 14, 1964; two sons, Dale Lowry of Garland, Texas and Dicky Lowry of Pine Bluff; one daughter, Carol Langley of Pine Bluff; three sisters, Adelyne Ross of Malvern, Chlotiel Work of Louisiana and Clarola Reeves of Florida; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the Chapel of Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services with Rev. Bobby Johnson and Rev. David Dalton officiating. Burial followed in Graceland Cemetery
