Mrs. O'Dell was born May 25, 1915 in Pine. She was a lifelong resident of Ripley County and of the Protestant faith. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and needle work.
On June 1, 1931 she married Earl O'Dell in Bardley. He preceded her in death on January 17, 1979.
Survivors include one son, Bill O'Dell of Paducah, Ky.; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Harold Headley, of Doniphan; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Montrose and Ida Upshaw-Anderson; one son, Ronald O'Dell; a daughter-in-law, Judy Smith O'Dell; two sisters, Willa Kershmer and Opal Sewell; and four brothers, Clyde, Chester, Joe and Norman Anderson
The graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 10 in the Bardley Cemetery with Bob Featherson officiating. Edwards's funeral home was in charge of arrangements PSN - Wednesday, December 13, 2006
