W. S. Rand Dies in Hospital Saturday
W. S. "Simp" Rand, well known farmer and stockman of Elizabeth, died at the Gassville hospital, Saturday evening. He had been ill several weeks. Interment was at Hall's Chapel services in charge of Rev Roy Davis. Mr Rand lived at Hand for many years, moving to Elizabeth when his land was taken into Norfork lake basin.
Surviving, are three son, Homer of Bakersfield, Mo., L. C. of Rodney and J. S. of Elizabeth, and two daughters, Mrs Langston of Missouri and Mrs Dillinger of Elizabeth.
