Harold G. "Pete" Peddycoart, 92, of Longview died at 3:35 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 13, 2009) at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
He was born April 13, 1917, in Douglas County, Il. to Gordon and Desta Anderson Peddycoart. He married Evelyn Ann Blaney. She died July 22, 2002.
Surviving are two sons, Perry Peddycoart of Longview and Larry Peddycoart of Bradford, Tennessee; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Arthur Peddycoart of Monticello and five sisters, Fern Dyke of Camargo; Camilia Buck of Parker, Colorado; Clara Cain of Wolf Lake, Il.; Viola Clark of Boran, California and Nancy Moorecraft of Mesa, Arizona.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, one grandson, three brothers and four sisters.
