WHITE
Nettie Loma White was born September 28, 1893 in Wyoming to Andrew and Sarah Troyer.
She was married to Thomas B. White on December 6, 1911 and to this union three children were born.
She moved to Lucas County when she was 18 years of age and spent her life on a farm northeast of Chariton. The last year she has been in the Chariton Manor and Lucas County Memorial Hospital.
She passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 1972, at Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for last three weeks. She was 78 years of age.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. White in July, 1955 and by her son John on February 14, 1972.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, being an active member as long as she was able to attend.
She leaves to mourn her passing two children, Kenneth White of Chariton and Marie King of LaQuinta, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by Dr. Merrill D. Summerbell at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 24, 1972, at the Fielding Funeral Home. Interment was in the Oxford Cemetery.
