Mildred Shuller Armstrong, 96, passed away August 23, 2010. Mildred lived most of her life in Van Buren before moving to Tulsa in 1990. She was born in 1914 to O.A. & Alice Shuller.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents,her husband, Cly William Armstrong; son-in-law Leroy Francis Bazany; and a grandson, Mark William Bazany.
She is survived by two daughters, Francis Armstrong Bazany of Naples,Florida, and Brenda Armstrong McLaughlin of Tulsa; eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Mildred was retired from the Arkansas State Unemployment Agency. Throughout her life, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, was an expert seamstress and enjoyed painting and craft work.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Gracelawn Pavillion with Reverend Clarence U. Smith, Jr officiating.
