To this marriage was born in Syracuse, NY-Elizabeth Ann(1845) and Louisa (1849). When he first came to Wisconsin in early 1850's, he lived also in Milwaukee where was born Andrew H.(1853) & Lillian(1864). He later moved at West Bend-Ozaukee County where his children were born--Jane(1856), Mary Matilda(1859), Sarah Cornelia (1863), & Lewis Henry(1866). Many of these birth dates were obtained from his children's obituaries. The census records show: 1840-1850 in New York, 1854 to 1855 city directory in Milwaukee, 1860-1889 in West Bend/Barton, WI. , in 1880 Milwaukee, WI. By the 1900 census, he lived in Neillsville-Clark-WI. until his death 1910.
When Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Pitcher (Davis) died in 1890, he remarried 29 Dec. 1892 to Anna Schults(Dufford)who died after 1910-1920??
In the Neillsville Times Newspaper:
"A precious one from us has gone,
A voice lived is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home which never can be filled.
God in his wisdom has recalled
the one his love has given.
And though the body slumber here,
The soul is sake in Heaven."
