Oshkosh (WI) Daily Northwestern, March 1, 1943, page 9: "MRS. ALBERTINA YAEGER IS SUMMOND BY DEATH - Fremont, Wis. (Special) - Mrs. Albertina Yaeger, 87, Fremont, Route 1, passed away Saturday night at 10:30 o'clock at the William Berndt home.
"Mrs. Yaeger, who was born May 9, 1855 in Germany had resided in America since she was 17 years of age. She was a resident of Wolf River for 64 years. Survivors are a stepson, Florenz Yaeger, and a granddaughter, Ruth Drews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Immanuel Lutheran Zittau church, the Rev. Mr. Hoessel officiating. The body will be taken from the Heuer funeral home Tuesday noon to the church where it will remain until the time of the services. Interment will take place at the church cemetery."
