Grover Bryan Still Jr ., died of cancer Dec. 2, 2000, at his home in Auburn. He was 70.

Born Sept. 13, 1930, in Greenwood, S.C., he served in the Marine Corps from 1948 to 1952 and graduated from the University of Washington. He married Jean E. Olson in 1958 in Seattle and lived in Auburn for 32 years.

Mr. Still worked as an insurance adjustor and was a member of the Seattle Adjustors Association. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Jean E. Still of Auburn; son Grover B. Still III of Auburn; daughters Catherine L. Mahlen of Sumner and Pamela J. Fawver of Bonney Lake; brother Douglas B. Still of Tukwila; sister Betty Lou Norwood of Seattle; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Price-Helton Funeral Chapel in Auburn. Burial will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in Maple Valley.
