Grover was the son of Julian Elijah Still and Sarah Leavina Augustine Still Calvert. He married Nannie Louise Harbin Oct. 20, 1928 in SC. They had three children together, all born in Greenwood, SC. Their children were Douglas Bryant Still born Aug. 18, 1929, Grover Bryan Jr. b. Sept. 13, 1930, and Betty Lou b. Dec. 2, 1932. Douglas married Frances Drake, Grover Jr. married Jean Elizabeth Olson, and Betty married Homer Norwood.

Grover's father Julian passed away in 1929 and Sarah eventually married Robert Lewis Calvert. Grover had one sister Mildred Louise Still b. June 2, 1905 who married a Baxter, and passed away Mar. 5, 1999 in Greenwood Co., SC.

All of their children moved to Washington state and in later years after Grover Sr.'s retirement, Grover and Nannie moved to Washington joining their children and grandchildren.

Douglas passed away in 2013 and is FAG #1198001160 and Grover Jr. passed away Dec. 2, 2000 and is FAG #40726699. Douglas was buried in Evergreen Washelli as well.
