Mrs. Mahala Sloan, widow of Cy Sloan
of Mill Springs, died at her home at
Burnside, Saturday, Jan. 1, of paralysis
(she was a sister of Judge S.H. Tate of
this place). She is survived by four
sons, Fulton and Gils of Burnside, and
Grant and Will of Nebraska, and six
daughters, mesdames John Burton,
Burnside, Mollie Smith, Mt. Vernon,
Nann Smith, Montana, May Dick and
Mena Mercer, Frazer.
