James Byron was the son of Andrew Jackson Barge and Nola Mae Thompson Barge born in Zavalla, TX.
He was raised in Zavalla he had 2 Sisters Lilly Mae and Myrtel and a younger brother Claudie they were very close and when they were very young when there Mother Nola passed away suddenly in 1919.
There Dad Andrew Jackson married again later to Lollie Crawford and they had 2 more sons Alvis and A.J JR. they were very close these 6 children, so James Byron had 2 Sisters and 3 Brothers whom he loved dearly.
James Byron married Viola Squires they had 6 children born to there marriage, later Viola and James Byron Divorced.
Later in 1947 James Byron remarried to Jewell Vestal Snowden they had one child born to there marriage.
Byron worked for Land O Pines Dairy and the Yellow Cab Company where he keep the Cabs in ship shape the cab company was owned by Jim Bo Wyman.
Byron was working on one of those Cabs when he had a massive Heart Attack and was gone in minutes.
He was much missed by his family he was put to rest beside his Mother Nola in the Barge Cemetery and 8 years later his Brother Claude died and is buried next to him.
