Herminia married Norberto Cruz when he came to Morenci to work in the mine. They lived in Morenci and in Globe until around the mid twenties and then moved to Spain. They remained in Spain and raised their children there. Their children were Celestino "Tino" and Maria Luisa who were born in Arizona before they went to Spain followed by their other eight children, Isidro, Josephina, Fernando, Rosa, Concepcion "Concha", Ramiro, Esperanza, Felipe, and Alberto who were born in Spain.
