Services for Norris L. Young, 79, of Route 2, Kuna, Ida., who died Friday, Feb. 12, 1971, at a Nampa hospital, were conducted this afternoon at Robison Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian, Ida.

The Rev. Frank Maulden officiated. Interment was at the Kuna Cemetery.

Mr. Young was born June 26, 1891, at Upland, Neb., and came to Boise Valley with his parents in 1901. He moved to Los Angeles in 1921 and married Alice Hill on June 5, 1931, at Los Angeles. He returned to Kuna in 1945, where he farmed.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; a daughter, Katherine LaVerne Nicholas, of Seward, Alaska; a brother, Merton B. Young, of Los Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. Geneva Louderbaugh, of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Edith Denniston, of Mentone, Calif.; a grandson, Lloyd L. Welch, of Mountain Home Air Force Base, Mountain Home, Idaho; and numerous nieces and nephews.
