Chester C. Young

MERIDIAN — Chester C. Young, 80, 207 Franklin St., Kuna, died Tuesday afternoon at a Boise hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Robison Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian, with the Rev. I.L. Shaver and the Rev. John Vreugdenhil of the Kuna Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Terrace Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Young was born Jan. 28, 1887, in Nebraska. He came to Boise in 1902, and in 1905 moved to Kuna where he had since lived. He married Lottie Mae Diggs Aug. 15, 1923 in Kuna.

He was a member of the Kuna Methodist Church, the Kuna I.O.O.F. lodge, the Kuna Rebecca Lodge, and of War Eagle Barracks, Veterans of World War I.

Survivors include his wife, Lottie Mae Young, Kuna; one son, Donald R. Young, Kuna; one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Hamlin, Kuna; three brothers, Merton Young of Los Angeles, Calif.; N. Lee Young, Kuna, and Dewey D. Young, Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Edith A. Denniston, Mentone, Calif., and Geneva A. Lounderbaugh, Los Angeles, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Delbert Brown, Harold Rexroad, Albert Forrey, Ralph Bowring, Frank Harrold, and George Johnston.
