Funeral services for Oren Akin, 80, Auburn, Calif., who died in Auburn Tuesday, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Chapel of the Ozarks. Burial will be in Bass Chapel Cemetery near Strafford.
A retired fireman for Frisco Railway, Mr. Akin is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Cooper, 1891 Oxford, and Mrs. Esther Workman, Auburn; a brother, Victor, state of California; and three sisters, Mrs. Ida Byrd, Toston, Mont., Mrs. Martha McPherson, Winston, Ky., and Mrs. Myrtle Johnson, Buffalo.
