Claudine "Pottsie" Prowell
Services for Ms. Prowell will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7 at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Jim Choomack and Dr. John Cheetham officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Park. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Ms. Prowell, 82, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at University Medical Center. She was a Claims Adjuster for the State of Tennessee and a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she began as a secretary and later served as organist for 41 years. She was preceded in death by parents, Claude C. & Hester Lewis Prowell; and brother, Claude C. Prowell Jr. Survivors include: niece, Melissa Prowell; great nephews, Emanuel Luke and Clifton P. Sepulveda; and special friend, Jack Howard. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers, the choir of First Presbyterian Church. Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Claudine Prowell had done genealogy work for many years on the Prowell Family of Smith County, Tennessee and surrounding counties. She was also an avid gardener. ***This cemetery Claudine is buried in was started ca 1927 according to cemetery official.***
