From "Scrips and Scraps," a book full of stuff from six scrapbooks inherited by Nancy Romig.

Cyrus, September 19. Mrs. Isoline McQuiston, widow of David McQuiston, passed away September 18 at home of her daughter, Mrs. Jennie Boyer, at Montpelier, Ind. Had been in failing health for some time and for past six months decline has been marked. Apoplexy cause of death. Seventy-eight years, 4 months, 23 days, had resided with her daughter for past seven years. Was daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Mitchell and was last of a family of ten children. Husband died twenty-five years ago. Joined Scrubgrass Presbyterian church at sixteen and after going to Montpelier was affiliated with M. E. church.... Remains were accompanied by her daughter to Emlenton and services conducted at Stone church by Rev. Witherspoon and interment beside her husband. Surviving are children: Mrs. Carl Peer, Baldwin, Kansas; Dr. Mary Miller, Buffalo, Kansas; Mrs. Jessie Grant, Wilson, Pa.; Mrs. Jennie Boyer, Montpelier, Ind., and Edward McQuiston residing at old home.
