Mrs. Mary Wampler, aged 76, widow of the late Samuel H. Wampler, an aged and most highly esteemed and beloved lady, died Saturday at her home about a mile southwest of Penn-Laird.
About six weeks ago she was stricken with paralysis and had been in critical condition since.
Her surviving children are: John F., Port Republic; Isaac S., professor of mathematics at t the Peabody Normal College; in Tennessee, W. C. of Mt. Clinton; Mrs. Davis Armentrout ot Goods Mill; Mrs. B. B. Miller of Cross Keys; Mrs. J. H. Beery, south of Harrisonburg; Mrs. D. M. Wetsel of Port Republic.
