She married John Peter Brant, Sr. ca 1812 in Somerset County, PA and they lived there and in Bedford County, PA before moving to Johnson County, IA before 1856. (Her husband is almost always listed as Peter, but his birth records list his name as John Peter Brant. Their first born son was also named John.)
