ERTIN F 'PINKY' CAMERON BREWER -Ertin F "Pinky" Cameron 78 died May 30 2009 at a Brewer health care center .He was born June 10 1930 in Brewer, son of Harry V and Florence (Dupuis) Cameron. Pinky worked for Brooks Brick Co Brewer during his early years and was employed by the city of Brewer for 38 years .He worked for the highway department for 10 years from 1945 to 1955 and was a firefighter for 28 years retiring in 1984 as assistant chief .He also served with the National Guard Battery A Brewer .Surviving are four children ;his longtime companion J.G. ; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two brothers ; three sisters ; many nieces nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter Barbara Cameron in 1996.

Friends may call 6-8 pm Tuesday June 2 at Kiley 8 Foley Funeral Service 69 State St Brewer .A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 am Wednesday at St Teresa's Catholip Church Brewer .Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery Brewer. A time of fellowship will be held immediately after the service.
