NEW ALBANY TRIBUNE OBITUARY – 03/09/1948 – CORYDON
Funeral services were held Monday at St. Mary's Church for Joseph H. Glotzbach, 69, Father of Joseph H. Glotzbach, Jr., of New Albany. He died Friday at St. Edward's Hospital. Burial was in the church cemetery.

CORYDON DEMOCRAT OBITUARY – 03/10/1948 - CORYDON, R. 8
A retired Franklin Township farmer, Joseph H. Glotzbach, died at St. Edward's Hospital Friday afternoon following a lingering illness. He was born in the county, a son of William and Agnes Glotzbach. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Josephine Glotzbach; three sons, Herman of Lanesville, Joseph Jr., of New Albany and August of Corydon; four daughters, Mrs. Rose Geswein of Lanesville, Mrs. Anna Schmidt and Mrs. Bertha Kruer, both of Floyds Knobs, and Miss Alma Glotzbach, at home; three brothers, George of Fowler, William of Earl Park and Leo Glotzbach of Georgetown, and two sisters Mrs. Margaret Schmeltz and Mrs. Agnes Schellenberger, both of Georgetown. Funeral services were conducted by Father Hunger Monday morning at St. Mary's Church in Lanesville. Burial was in the church cemetery.
