Pedro was preceded in death by his father, Pascual L. Ferrer; mother, Eloclaudia Ferrer; and brothers, Eduardo and Fidel Ferrer.
He is survived by son, David Ferrer; two daughters, Vickie Aves and Michelle Rodriguez; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Estefana Ferrer and Maricela and Victor Rojas; four brothers, Baldomaro Ferrer, Ricardo and Aurora Ferrer, Henry and Betty Ferrer, Ricardo Merzedez and Rhondal Ferrer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pedro was born in Navarro County on April 26, 1925. He served loyally on behalf of the U.S. Army in the Korean War.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 17, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Blooming Grove. Pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews, Danny Ferrer, Ernie Ferrer, Luis Ferrer, Ricardo M. Ferrer Jr., Ryan M. Ferrer and Juventino Sanchez II.
