Bryant Jr. in Florida. They lived in Kansas City for 10 years. After his death on Febuary 6, 1987, she returned to Iola.

Surviovors include a son, Earl "Butch" Long and his wife Vicki; three daughters, Becky Sinclair and her husband Leon, Linda Barber and her husband Ed all of Iola, and Barbara Morrison and husband Vernon of Lone Elm; a step-daughter Martha Rues, Overland Park; a brother, Virgil Hufferd, Chanute; and 13 grandchildren.
Two brothers, David and Daniel Hufferd, and three sisters, Faye Peterson, Fannie Fursman, and Lillie Gregg are deceased.
