Clyde E. Willis, 68, lifelong resident of Galesburg died at his home April 4, 1945, following a month's illness. He suffered a stroke. He was born Sept. 1, 1876, in Galesburg and was married Dec. 12, 1900, to Zetta Williams. One son was born to this union. Mrs. Willis died several years ago and on Aug. 28, 1931, he was married to Ora Brickey of Erie. He was one of the oldest employees of the Shaw Manufacturing Co. at Galesburg and had been with the company 39 years. Survivors include his wife, a son Merle; three grandchildren and one sister, Zella Dunivant and one brother, Floyd Willis.
