Formerly of Dallas and Granbury, Texas, Ms. McKnight was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana and was a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. She was born September 21, 1922 and was a hands-on, multi-talented person with a big heart. Byrne will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Byrne is survived by her beloved family, one sister Lita Willhite, of Lafayette, Louisiana; one brother Jim McKnight, of New Orleans, Louisiana; one sister-in-law Ruth E. McKnight, of Dallas, Texas; five nephews, and one niece.
