Funeral services for Aaron S. Beck. aged 21, a veteran of the World War, who died Thursday morning at the State Sanitorium for wounded soldiers at Hamburg, were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at his home, 29 Summit Street. The services which were in charge of Knights of Maita were conducted by the Rev. Homer S. May, pastor of the Fourth Reformed Church. Burial was made in the Harrisburg East Cemetery.
During the World War, Mr. Beck served with the Three Hundred and Twentieth Field Signal Battalion. He died at the Hamburg Hospital after several months of sickness. He was a member of the Knights of Malta and Patriotic Order Sons of America. Prior to enlisting in the Army, Mr. Beck was employed in the blacksmith shops of the Pennsylvania System.
In addition to his wife, Mrs. Gertrude M. Beck, he is survived by one son, Aaron S. Beck; one daughter, Catherine M. Beck; one sister, Mrs. Christian Bornman and his mother, Mrs. W. W. Johnson.
