Funeral services for Durward Lee Beverly, 92, of Route 1, Roanoke, will be Wednesday, July 13, 1994, at 2 p.m. from White's Chapel United Methodist Church, with Rev. Don Quick and Rev. Wallace Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens. Mr. Beverly died Sunday, July 10, 1994, at Randolph County Hospital. A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Mr. Beverly was born May 8, 1902, son of Robert E. Lee Beverly and Donie Rainey Beverly. He was a member of White's Chapel Methodist Church and the Roanoke Masonic Lodge and had retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Naomi Kirby Beverly.
